Ever since the last 2 versions, it takes increasingly long for the "New tab startup page" to load. Since v96, it never does, it asks if I'd like to either wait or close the page.
I always replaced the original resources.pak file with the one you provide separately and I thought that was the issue, but now I didn't and the same thing happens. When launched, the tab keeps loading forever. If I open a new tab, all is well - but the startup never finishes.

I had an older Win7 machine with an Athlon II cpu that was having the SAME ISSUE with opening the Startup Page ...
My Intel windows 7 machines i've never had that issue.

However I DO have a new issue with Iron v97... the Minimize/Maximize buttons (in upper right corner) disappear using the browser??
I have to right click on the Title bar to Minimize/Maximize now.
***EDIT: the MORPHEON DARK theme is incompatible with Iron v97***

could you try update your GPU driver?

if that not helps, try to start with parameter --disable-WebGL, then disable Hardware Accerlation in GUI:

Hi,

I've been having an issue with, at least, the last two main versions of SRWare Iron (96, 97). This pertains to the portable versions in my case.

I run portable version of SRWare -- nothing imported, nothing changed. I set home page to google.com (https://www.google.com etc). I load Iron, the address bar states "google.com" (or full address when that option is selected), and it won't load anything. It just keep hanging and loading. Furthermore, when I click the icon before the address, it states, "Your connection to this site is not secure." However, I can't seem to change it and make it work.

When I open a new tab, type in google.com and it loads fine, without complaining about insecure connections.

How do I fix this? I've been using Iron for a long time and never had this issue until the last few versions. Thanks.

This is what it does: upon startup, it tries to load google.com which I've set as homepage, and just hangs there. After a while, it times out. After that, an error message shows about a code error. When I open a new tab and type google.com (or full address) it loads immediately (as shown in second tab of second screenshot below). But it won't load in the initial tab upon starting the browser. This always used to work without issue in previous versions up to 96 or so.

I found my issue: google.com loads upon startup when I turn off "hardware acceleration" in advanced settings. Never used to be a problem before on this same computer, nor is it an issue for me on Chrome etc.

I've being using Version 96.0.4900.0 for months without any issues.
