Re: New machine XP to Win8.1---PASSWORDS
Now that I put some more thought into it, my wife bought a new Windows 7 laptop a couple of months back. I 'moved' her profile to her new machine(XP to Win7), and of course the passwords didn't work right off. BUT, then I did something with her 'moved profile' that I can't remember, and got her pass...

Re: New machine XP to Win8.1---PASSWORDS
OK, thanks! I didn't know passwords were not compatible from machine to machine. Seems like a damned dumb thing IMO!
I did get Lastpass, and it will take some getting use to.
The portable thing doesn't sound like a fun thing, so I'll stick with Lastpass.
Again, thanks for the response.

New machine XP to Win8.1---PASSWORDS
I managed to get all of my profiles working in the Win8.1 machine EXCEPT the damned Passwords. Is there ANY way to get them working without having to create all new profiles and re installing the extensions etc? The login files are in the profiles, but nothing appears in the 'Saved Passwords' area i...

Re: New Iron-Version: 33.0.1800.0 Stable for Windows
Besides the fact that some(most) of my extensions won't work in 'incognito' mode, I won't get back into an 'administrator' situation that requires a bunch of crap to do before the 'latest update' works right. Could the Flash problems be because a lot of users also have Flash install for other non-MS...

Re: New Iron-Version: 33.0.1800.0 Stable for Windows
Looks like I am staying with 30.0.1650.0 for now. From some of the problems I see described, 30.0.1650.0 still works well and NONE of these problems I see in these(and the V32) postings) exist. Maybe someday the devs for the chromium project will pull there heads out of there asses, and FULLY test b...

Re: New Iron-Version: 32.0.1750.1 Stable for Windows
@RikkyRicardo, download the new version 32.0.1750.1 in the new version you have to remove (or rename) iron.exe (it's not the real one ...) and rename chrome.exe as iron.exe Yeah well, that would have been nice to know up front instead of having to furt around with it, and then find it still has pro...

Re: New Iron-Version: 32.0.1750.1 Stable for Windows
Back to version 30.0.1650.0 AGAIN! This one will not start any of my profiles, will not start in incognito mode, and it will not allow usage of modifiers in the shortcut 'Target' box. Another POS from the chromium devs IMO. I understand the the SRWare folks have to work with what is given by the chr...

Re: New Iron-Version: 31.0.1700.0 Stable for Windows
As of yesterday 12/31/13, last pass no longer works on iron and doesn't show up in a search for possible extensions. I just uploaded the new version and still nothing. Anyone know what happened? Still have last pass on Chrome and Mozilla and IE... just not iron. same issue here. very annoying! I ju...

Re: What the hell is this crap and why all of a sudden?
OK, I've found that they originate from the Native Client thing(which I don't think I use, at least I didn't set it up that way). I deleted the pnacl folder from each of my profiles along with the PnaclTranslateCache folder. We'll see if that stops them. Those folders were not in my profiles a week ...
