NetFlix is 'problematic' in newest versions of Iron...

Afternoon, all. Up until Iron 69, getting NetFlix to run under Iron in Linux was easy . The WideVine modules just sat inside the main browser directory, and the browser picked them up from there. The Puppy Linux packages I build from the tarball for the 'Puppy' community (both architectures) were su...

Re: Default download location

Hi, hoyanet.

AFAICT, it's nothing to do with Google. You just need to set your browser to 'Ask me where to save items' under 'Downloads' in the 'Advanced Settings' section.....

That should 'fix' it.

New Linux version 'overdue'?

Just curious, really, but.....why no new Linux version for the last 3 months..? Chrome 67 has come and gone, and we're now on Chrome 68, halfway to Chrome 69.

Any particular 'problems'?

Re: Many Chrome Ext's work. This one no? Google Cast

Hiya, Jack. Mm. Odd one, that. I always install extensions directly from the Chrome Store. Notwithstanding that, here in the Linux version of 63.0.3300.0 I have the right-click 'Cast' option showing (and working) just fine. One question; you're not still trying to get this running in XP, by any chan...

Annoying pop-up?

Now then, guys:- What's with this annoying 'clear cache, browsing history. etc; xxx records found, etc' pop-up that Iron 63 for Linux has suddenly taken to shoving in my face without warning? I didn't ask for it.....and I certainly don't want it, thank you very much. So how do I get rid of/disable i...

Re: Linux 57.0.3000.0.....when??

Re: Issues since updating to 56.0.2950.0

Jolly good. Thanks for that. Will look forward to it. Chrome on 64-bit is not giving any trouble; I'm currently 'beta'-testing Chrome 58, and, as previously stated, it behaves itself. So does the 64-bit version of Iron.....it's just the 32-bit version that is misbehaving at the moment! It's just a w...

Re: Issues since updating to 56.0.2950.0

Any chance of a fix for this in the 32-bit Linux version of 56.0.2950.0? Exact same problem; no connection to any Google sites, with a warning that 'Hackers may be trying to steal your passwords and/or identity on this site', etc, etc. 64-bit version works fine; there, the problem doesn't seem to ex...
