Re: New Iron-Version: 7.0.520.0 Stable for Windows

With this release, the option to be asked whether a site can place a cookie is removed. Now, you can only accept either all or none, with the possibility to exclude certain URLs only via a manual list. Is this removed on purpose? No, really?, if thats true Iron has just taken a step backwar...

Re: Libmoon (Moonlight) problems..

Personally I would say libmoon is the bug, if you didn't know moonlight is the linux equivalent of Microsofts Silverlight, MS jumping on the adobe flash bandwagon, "Exciting media opportunities" and all that obfuscated advertising waffle meaning more ways to scam users without them realising it and ...

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475 Stable for Windows

CLICK and HOLD the globe, DRAG it to where you want it. I find a CLICK and HOLD on the little globe to the left of the URL, then DRAGGING it to a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, or a folder IN A folder there, or to one in the Other Bookmarks folder works better than clicking a button and having to...

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475 Stable for Windows

Also is there a way to limit the description width of a bookmark (without having to manually edit the description of hundreds of bookmarks)?, in this version of Iron bookmarks have turned into screen spanning monsters.

Re: New Page about Iron/Chrome Extensions and Themes from SR

Going to have to add another post I cannot edit the last one..... Also along the same ideas as the above post, would it be possible in future to have a Privacy rating on extensions?, 5 star for "excellent privacy, no issues here" down to 1 star for "Beware third party agreement hiding amongst the le...

Re: New Page about Iron/Chrome Extensions and Themes from SR

SRWare, reference the original google chrome comic pages 28-31 http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/small_30.html Does anyone quality control extensions/plugins so that anyone using them can be assured they do not break security and the privileges boundaries? I know it is not your responsibility...

Re: New Iron-Version: 6.0.475 Stable for Windows

8-) This is now my permanent default browser. Very pleased to see this release - more pleased to see you now have Iron in Microsofts Browser Choice. Reference Browser Choice - Is the source of that version this stable version? I ask because I first noticed the new browser choice while re-installing ...

Thank you for the update SRWare, using it at the moment but not had long... I will reserve comment for later but so far so good. No problems installing, and in use nothing obviously wrong, it seems as quick as ever if not slightly quicker again (have not done any comparisons its just the way it feel...

Re: Iron and .lnk exploit

Thanks Chikon, but I just used Linux for any internet access until Microsoft released the patch - It was more of a question on behalf of anyone else with the same thought and stuck with an MS windows machine only... But the patch released in windows updates night before last came before any answers ...
