The tool provided worked perfectly. Iron is now the default for all file types and protocols it can open under Windows 7. Also, Chromium now appears within "Set Default Programs" inside the Control Panel.

How do I set up Iron as the default for all file types and protocols it can open? Under Windows 7, Chrome appears within "Set Default Programs" inside the Control Panel but Iron does not so I don't know to make the switch. In Settings within Iron, clicking "Make SRWare Iron my default...

Problem solved. As suggested in those articles, the solution involved launching Iron as Administrator. 1. Right-click the SRWare Iron shortcut icon and select "Run as Administrator". 2. Click the Wrench icon and select "Options". 3. Click "Make SRWare Iron my default browser...
