Re: Issues since updating to 56.0.2950.0

Any chance of a fix for this in the 32-bit Linux version of 56.0.2950.0? Exact same problem; no connection to any Google sites, with a warning that 'Hackers may be trying to steal your passwords and/or identity on this site', etc, etc. 64-bit version works fine; there, the problem doesn't seem to ex...

Re: New Iron-Version: 54.0.2850.0 Stable for Linux

Hiya, Steve. I run Iron myself, in Puppy Linux. I re-package Iron for the 64-bit Pups, and an acquaintance does the same for the 32-bitzers. I think you'll find that in the current release there is no 'iron' file; the binary is the 'chrome' one instead. /usr/share/iron/chrome 8th line up from the bo...

Re: HOW TO ACTIVATE PPAPI-FLASH

Hi, SRWare. /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin is used and updated automatically by Ubuntu/Debian based Distributions from their package management system and so we also use this as directory because Chromium for Linux has no system-wide path like on Windows/Mac (and we want to provide flash autodetection )...

Re: HOW TO ACTIVATE PPAPI-FLASH

Hi, SRWare. Got a query here for you; no doubt it's been asked before, but I'm going to ask it anyway. What's the reasoning behind using the /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin location for Pepper.....and putting PPAPI in with NPAPI versions of Flash? I'm just curious, that's all. I run Puppy Linux; in fact ...

How to get NetFlix operational in Iron 54 on Puppy Linux..!

Afternoon, everybody. Just wanted to pass on some information to any Puppy Linux users who don't frequent the Murga-Linux Puppy Forum. We've recently started experimenting with Iron, since, with Google dropping support for 32-bit Chrome after version 48, we like to try out alternative Chromium-based...

Re: New Iron-Version: 54.0.2850.0 Stable for Linux

Afternoon, one and all. This is my first post here, although I suspect it won't be the last. I'm a long-term Chrome user; ever since it was in beta back in 2008, in fact. I fell in love with its speed and simplicity.....although it, like so many other browsers, has turned into a lumbering 'super-tan...
