Cool I am back to using Iron 10.0.650.1. I figured out a cool way to block google instant without any extensions. I use Avast 6 free Antivirus to block it. I noticed in avast under the additional protection settings a site blocking feature. Under URLs to block I added http://www.google.com/extern_js...

I use task manager to check it like anyone normally would. looking at virtual mem and mem usage, And as usual nothing outrages happens it seems normal. I was not trying to discredit you or anything you can relax.

In Your :\Program Files\CCleaner folder there should be a winapp.ini File if you have it. I guess disable search suggestions would be the way. But if you do not want anyone knowing what you search use CCleaner or the incognito window when you search.

Thats strange cause I never had that problem. Iron has always used less ram than any browser for me. Thats one reason why I switched from Firefox.
