Re: adblock.ini Linux

Using Linux Mint 10 64-bit I downloaded and extracted Iron to the Desktop. In opt/adblock.ini I created adblock.ini using gedit. Attempting to open Iron resulted in a white flash (as if Iron was just about to open but something prevented it). Once I removed the adblock.ini folder (removing the adbl...

Suggestion: Adblock.ini force-reload button

Hi, I'm one of those who creates his own blacklist of sites and I'd wish Iron would have a force-reload function/button of its Adblock.ini integrated on its menus somewhere. This would make it easier for me to test and debug resource filters without closing all my tabs. Force-reload would re-read th...

Re: New Iron-Version: 9.0.600.2 Stable for Windows

I'm trying to do the sync in this new Iron and for some reasons, after you click on sign in, it authenticates you, but then stops there. The Iron Options window would also change its status from authenticating to "Account sign-in details are not yet entered." It's taking loads of time to sign-in, w...

Re: New Iron-Version: 5.0.381 Stable for Linux

Try this: open an empty adblock.ini with nano open http://www.srware.net/downloads/adblock.ini in your browser copy everything paste it into nano save this could be needed because the adblock.ini is formated with windows line-breaks I had to redo my list in linux (it's not as big as the one provide...

Re: New Iron-Version: 5.0.381 Stable for Linux

Alright, I'm running it now. I got the UA switcher to work by putting UA.ini (with proper caps) to /opt but when I add adblock.ini to my /opt directory, Iron doesn't see it.

Anybody else have this same problem?
