Go to Settings > Preferences.
Under the Behavior tab, find the Tabs section.
Check the box that says Open links in new tabs.

Open Iron and go to Settings.
Scroll down and click on Advanced.
Under the Privacy and security section, find Use a prediction service to load pages more quickly and toggle it off.

It could be a compatibility issue with the browser or possibly a missing plugin.
