I just read about Browserscope website on gHacks and I wanted to run the tests.
Iron crashes every time I attempt to run security tests. (Not the entire browser, just this particular tab ("Aw, Snap!" error message.))
Does it work for anyone else? http://www.browserscope.org/alltests

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.280 Stable for Windows
I understand that this website plays music, but still the amount of claimed RAM is somewhat disturbing http://i47.tinypic.com/2h39z7c.jpg Is it normal? I understand that one process per tab leads to greater memory consumption etc. but Opera uses 100 MB for the same site (that's 100 MB altogether, so...

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.280 Stable for Windows
I solved this problem with a Speed Dial extension. It's not impressively customizable (the author is working on it) but still more flexible than New Tab (e.g. you can specify any number of rows and columns).

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.280 Stable for Windows
I can't rearrange the tumbnails on the New Tab page (swap places etc.). Dragging and dropping doesn't work, they return to their original positions every time. Pinning, unpinning makes no difference.

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.275 Release Candidate
middle button doesn't work
but it looks more stable so far (hasn't crashed yet; the previous beta did quite often)
also - otherwise than that beta - however by a narrow margin, it is faster than version 3
haha i only just noticed this emoticon well, i use both

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.227 Beta
This version crashes every now and then - usually when clicking on folders on the bookmark bar (right after the menu list drops down).

Re: Odd 'back button' behaviour.
I think it happens on websites which redirect the user to a different address. You make a step back all right... but it redirects you again, and so you're kind of trapped. You can try pressing and holding down [backspace] on the keyboard - this can override this annoying behaviour, simply because th...

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.227 Beta
OK Iron_man and what's your result for Iron 3.0?
If you're only quoting the result you got for 4.0 - it doesn't make much sense to me
obviously you ran it on your computer, not mine, with different CPU
those results are only meaningful in compare to eachother

Re: New Iron-Version: 4.0.227 Beta
Hi, So far so good. Iron 4.0 is faster than 3.0, at least according to my tests. I ran the Sunspider benchmark 4.0: 1514.4ms +/- 3.7% 3.0: 882.4ms (+/- 7,4%) JavaScript - nearly two times slower. (Still faster than Firefox, though - 2070.2 ms). btw, ad blocker does work, however you have to update ...
