I have created the UA.ini file in the programfolder in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SRWare Iron" as suggested, but the user agent string is still the same.
Does this feature still work or is there some otehr way to change the user agent

The updater only supports checking for updates at statup or every hour. Connecting on a regular basis is not something a privacy sensitive browser should do in my opinion.
I would like to request an additional option to check for updates only once a week or after a user defined number of days.
