Re: New Iron-Version: 112.0.5700.0 Stable for Windows

First of all, thank you for your precious work with Iron. Being able to free ourself from the heaviness of Chrome without losing compatibility is absolutely wonderful. And don't forget the privacy discourse. We know it is not easy to follow the frequent releases of Chrome but, please, don't give up....

Re: v70.0.3650.1 - Whatsapp Web Wrong version identified

WhatsApp Web only checks for the word "Iron" in the last part of the User Agent string. So I put the word "Iron" in another part of the string: --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; Iron x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/71.0.3700.0 Safari/537.36" and all goes ok. :...

@entercode

I tried just now WhatsApp Web and it's ok.

Are you sure that the "--user-agent" switch is functioning ?

Check on http://www.ip-secret.com with and after without the switch

Re: New Iron-Version: 70.0.3650.1 Stable for Windows

The right answer is: there is a problem with PayPal (and with WhatsApp too). It refuse to work just because there is the word "Iron" in the user agent string.

But it easy to solve with your suggestion of using the "--user-agent" switch, so we can continue to use Iron as usual.

Re: Your browser is out of date when logging in to PayPal

Thanks for the experiments with UA navar.

Now I have two shortcuts on my desktop: the original and the one with "--user-agent=" switch for the "silly" websites like PayPal and WhatsApp.

But It's really annoying this situation.

Re: Your browser is out of date when logging in to PayPal

Hello Just a quick report about the problems with sites that doesn't want Iron anymore: now even "web.whatsapp.com" says that the browser is out of date. There's a message that the site doesn't function with Chrome under version 36. Obvious that I have Iron updated to version 70. It would be nice to...
