You just dont have to change browser ;) Wot for Iron is working well. :!: ;)
https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... ndpbikblnp

WOT is available for all other major browsers as well (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera, Chrome)
.... WOT (IE add-on installer) --- http://www.mywot.com/en/download/ie --- 3.3.2010
.... WOT.crx extension (Chrome, Iron) --- https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... ndpbikblnp --- 15.2.2010
.... WOT.xpi extension (Firefox, SeaMonkey, Flock) --- http://www.mywot.com/en/download/ff --- 28.10.2009
.... WOT.js (user javascript, Opera) --- http://files.myopera.com/PH%60/UserJs/wot.js --- 9.3.2010
.... WOT bookmarklets (Safari, Opera) --- http://www.mywot.com/en/blog/wot-bookma ... -and-opera

But Iron is simply the best option :ironvsff

Has anyone else downloaded the LastPass extension and not been able to log onto it? The login button for the extension is non functional with this version. I'm hoping the final version of this Iron is based on a newer version of Chromium than this version.

I have found though that setting the userstring as chrome so you can download extensions from the chrome extensions webpage and then downloading the useragent spoof extension seems to work well spoofing the user agent string on demand which is much more convenient than changing it again and again

Icons for some sites are wrong for some reason. That is I have an icon for a University website but it is showing up as the icons for Richard Dawkin's site....

1) https://chrome.google.com/extensions/de ... egeplioahd

2) Iron 5.0.326.0 based on WebKit 533.1 (newer than Iron 4.0.280.0, newer than Chrome 4.1.249.1036)

3) make yourself UA.ini with anything string you want. After that you dont have to change everytime (And of course, sometimes forget) .... With UA.ini is custom user agent string active allways and forever. .... Chrome extensions you can download from 1)

If any problem, move UA.ini to another folder, download extensions (crx. files), or install them to Iron. ..... Later, simply move UA.ini file back to your Iron folder ;)

UA.ini ... is an alternative for options, like Firefox add-on ... "User Agent Switcher"

UA.ini is normal text file created with notepad (by You), with some custom string text inside, and placed that file in root folder of Iron (optional C:/Program Files/SRWare Iron/UA.ini ... This file can change User Agent String of Iron forever! Everytime, you launch a browser, you will have this custom string. (you can change for everything you imagine ... like Opera, Firefox, IE8, iPhone, Nokia, PS3, and more)... see ... useragentstring.com for examples of string .....

But dont forget! If you change it, You are not detected over internet as "Iron user" .... which is bad. :ironvsff

UA.ini
Adblock.ini

(both placed in the same folder to working automatically C:/Program Files/SRWare Iron/....)

I think this system of custom files is much !!! smarter than "normal extensions" (Chrome/Firefox), because dont slowing a browser and you cant care about its function at all. Simply working. Allways!

IMHO ... Google Chrome extesions could be downloaded with "Iron default string", so you dont have to change to "Google Chrome string" or any else. .... There is probably no reason to change UA string of browser in most of cases.

Cheers!

Current Chrome 5.0.342.8 BETA:
AppleWebKit/533.2 (KHTML, like Gecko)

It would be nice if we can update the Iron 5.0 to later Webkit (currently it's 533.1) and release Iron 5.0 beta :)

Yes, .... Google release its 5.0 tree to BETA channel .....

but In my opinion, for Iron 5.0 a little wait ..... at least few weeks to go WebKit 533.4 and higher
For example, current latest Chromium build, 5.0.365.0 is still for WebKit 533.3

Iron should be allways in advance (to other webkit based browsers) 8-)

Take a time for another milestone which Google and others cant catch

maybe .... "Iron 5.0.480 Stable" .... or so .... ;) .... after a month or two .... could be expected
