Latest Adblock.ini Generator

Post by echo2 »

Here's a program that I made to generate the latest adblock.ini based off the latest adblockplus easylist.
It will create the adblock.ini in the folder that it is located in.
Enjoy

Fixed false positives:) Antivirus don't like compressed files.

Sorry Admin. I accidentally posted the wrong link in the last post.
Does iron support element blocking? What is the format?

Nice, but:

Why not generate adblock.ini in current directory, instead of fixed path D:\Adblock\adblock.ini? Btw, if the path does not exist, the script fails.
Would it be possible to accept a filename in current directory as a list that needs to be converted, so that users can download a list they need and convert it?

I'm not certain what I am doing wrong, but I can't get it to work. I receive a Windows Script error message stating that it cannot find the file even though I have the correct path set. Any suggestions?

Also, could someone upload their adblock.ini they've generated from this?

Thanks

Thanks for your exe, but I can't download it, since I can't reach rghost, can you send another link to download it from another host?

I'd appreciate that, thanks in advance

My mistake I succeed into downloading it, but it doesn't work at all...

I got some error messages, such as "The system cannot locate the resource specified" about the Srwareironadblock.js, line 11, char 1, code 800C0005 :/

The rghost link doesn't respond.

What about us Mac users? Having a fixed path probably won't work.

Thanks a lot echo2, it's working great now :)

I was wondering, will you include other easylist, such as easyprivacy, regional lists, and on, some day?

Thank you for your contribution!
Are these lines are all correct:

Code: Select all

[Adblock Plus 2.0]
/spopunder^
://ads.
=popunder&
?bannerid=&punder=
_popunder+
://pop.mrstiff.com^
accounts.google.com# @# .adwords
Are square brackets [] allowed? (Shouldn't it read # Adblock Plus 2.0 instead?)

What about the last line accounts.google.com# @# .adwords, is this valid Adblock.ini syntax?
As documentation is lacking, we can't rely on a regular ruleset for conversion (SRware this is quite annoying).
