Latest update not asking to save passwords

Post by ironuser »

Version Version 28.0.1550.1 (210100)>> Not ASKING to save passwords.
Anyone else having this problem? If so, did you find a way to correct it?

I checked it. I deleted the password for this forum, logout and then login. The browser asked me if I want to save the password. So, seems to be ok.
(time ago you wrote me privately. I wanted to reply, but you disabled the possibility to receive replies)

No, I leave cookies alone(for now).
I thought the password thing may have been profile specific, but it's not.
Strangely, there are sites I can save passwords for(this one as you did), but I have a local library page that won't allow it.
http://69.18.14.160/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session= <<< You won't be able to test! You need a library code).
The same page will save the passwords in Firefox however(and did so in Iron 27 versions), so I think it is the new(er) browser and the way the page is being read.
EDIT>>>> I'm trying to find another page I visit that requires a password and uses domain numbers to see if that is the problem.

As to the PM you couldn't reply to, I'll look at my settings and the control panel. I don't remember setting anything to not allow responses.
EDIT>>> OK, my bad! I did have a setting to No that should have been Yes.
Try again please! all these WHITE drop downs are killing my eyes!
