Fixed bugs and sync
In Mozila or Internet Excplorer Not This Bugs with Same Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.94.
Mozilla(I assume Firefox) uses the same Flash plugin that is in Iron. Mine is also 11,8,800,94 for both Iron and Firefox and Seamonkey(Another mozilla based browser). I think there is something else wrong. Are you 'sure' you have both versions of the Flash plugin installed? The one for Iron/Mozilla AND the other one for MS IE?

Also, it is not a bug(amazing or not) if you are having the problem and other users don't have it!
SRWare Iron does NOT come with "built-in Adobe Flash Player."
And Internet Explorer (IE) can't use the same Flash player with other browsers, but Flash Player version can be the same NUMBERS.
"Active-X" is for IE only.
"Plug-in" is for all other browsers.

You can download Flash Player from Adobe's website:
Latest Release Version 11.8.800.94: http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect
Latest Beta Version 11.8.800.129: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

I don't have any problems with Flash Player (w/ BETA). I opened 3 browsers (Firefox, IceDragon, & SRWare Iron), play all youtube video at the same time and it does not crash or anything.

New SRWare Iron version is so amazing and smooth!

Thank you. :ironvsie :ironvsopera :ironvssafari :ironvschrome :ironvsff

As for me (at one of computers in my office) SRWare Iron always starts in Metro UI mode...
What must I do to start Iron as usual? :ironvschrome

Note this post is not meant to come across as fear mongering.

ok so i think the most important thing to point out with these new 28.x builds is the new "Blink" render engine.
There are some issues with this that i would get into. But if you read both the last thread and what the blink engine is going to do you will see there are some drawbacks. It does however increase chromiums security at the user level so thats one good thing atleast.

So yea just wanted to underscore this.

Wow! This is either spam or a very lousy translation from Hungarian (I guess) to English (most probably a failure of Google Translate).

On topic now, it seems like the Blink engine runs better than the parts of the WebKit used before.

Security Fixes and Rewards
Note: Access to bug details and links may be kept restricted until a majority of users are updated with a fix. This commonly occurs if the bug exists in a third party library that other projects similarly depend on, but haven’t yet fixed.

This update includes 25 security fixes. Below, we highlight some fixes that were either contributed by external researchers or particularly interesting. Please see the Chromium security page for more information.

[$1337] [181617] High CVE-2013-2900: Incomplete path sanitization in file handling. Credit to Krystian Bigaj.
[$500] [254159] Low CVE-2013-2905: Information leak via overly broad permissions on shared memory files. Credit to Christian Jaeger.

In addition, our ongoing internal security work was as usual responsible for a wide range of fixes:

[274602] CVE-2013-2887: Various fixes from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives (Chrome 29).

A partial list of changes is available in the SVN log. Interested in switching to a different release channel? Find out how. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug.

I have the same issue with Iron 28: Iron does a floppy seek each time I start it.

I gets on my nerves!

Is there a workaround for it? I don't want to disconnect my floppy drive. :!:

here: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issu ... ?id=234318
it says "Confirmed that floppy is not accessed when chrome is launched.
Verified in 28.0.1500.95 (Official Build 213514) "

So a chance for a fast update?

Please .... :!:
