There is a catastrophic memory leak introduced in 22 of regular chrome (and still currently existing in v23 of regular chrome) that also affects SRWare iron.
It occurs primarily in javascript and especially bad with IndexDB.
It already has a bug report on main branch so I am sure it will be fixed eventually but until it does I would like to downgrade SRWare Iron to v21...
Unfortunately I cannot do so, SRWare website does not seem to host older version. I managed to find v21 installer via google, its 23.9MB (0.2MB more then v22), its got md5 hash of 76bba4cffd72ca2fc9e9cf6a4e25211a which also differs from the v22... and yet when I install I get v22 installed instead of v21.
Anyone knows where I can get a proper v21 offline installer that installs actual v21 of srware iron?
Help downgrading from 22 to 21, critical bug

Well, no response but I finally managed to find a proper link to v21...

That habit of modifying the linked version to the latest one? that's as bad as the auto update on google chrome.

Perhaps an archive of older versions is in order, even if it only contains the previous 1 or 2 major builds.

That would be very welcome.mynamehere wrote:Perhaps an archive of older versions is in order, even if it only contains the previous 1 or 2 major builds.

Thanks for the tip. I upgraded to Java 7, and it completely wiped out my mouse clicks for Bookmarks, New Tabs etc. Downgrading to Iron v21 from your link worked a treat. Thanks
