I am considering if I should switch from chrome to Iron.
Two questions:
1. Can I run Iron and Chrome side by side or do I need to run only one or the other to avoid issues? (aka, shared user data).
2. I like Iron's security improvements over chrome, but the removal of the Google Updater is actually detrimental in my opinion. Is there an opt in auto updater for Iron?
Iron & chrome side by side? Iron updater?
Re: Iron & chrome side by side? Iron updater?
Yes, I have done it in the past for comparison purposes. 'Shared User Data' was not a problem. They both put it in different places.taltamir wrote:I am considering if I should switch from chrome to Iron.

Not that I know of. The Iron folks do their best to get rid of the Google 'call home' things.taltamir wrote:2. I like Iron's security improvements over chrome, but the removal of the Google Updater is actually detrimental in my opinion. Is there an opt in auto updater for Iron?
And I am not sure if there is an auto updater specifically for iron in the works. Hang around, someone else may know more about it.
