Post by SRWare »

Based on Chromium 2.0.168.0 here now a new Iron-Version, too.
Download: http://www.srware.net/downloads/srware_iron.exe

This version will replace the present 1.0 stable.

Thank you for a great browser!

One small problem: I also get the "bug" mentioned on the German board about the browser top bar overpainting the open tabs -- using Windows XP.

This seems to be an issue with XP SP3 standard only (bugs on my desktop, not on my samsung NC10: XP ULPC edition).

Apparently no one reported it in chormium issues, so I was wondering whether this is an Iron-specific bug...
Someone got that with Chrome too ?

Ive got the same issue on XP x64 Pro SP2.

Same here with XP SP3, but I have a workaround ;)

I'm not experiencing the bug when I switch to a custom theme. I haven't tested anything very thoroughly, but I'm happy enough that it's working :D

hmm... I ran a few more tests, and found that the bug only happened when I did the following:

Open Iron
Open Chrome
Close Chrome
Focus Iron

Anyone else see this pattern?
