I just received a new laptop with Windows 10 Home X64. I don't want to start a discussion about the merits of the OS, it was a gift, so let's talk about Iron.

I installed the 32 bit v47.0.2500.0 and every time I start it it tells me that Iron is not the default browser. Right.

If I click on the button that takes me to the list of apps to choose for Web Browser, Iron isn't even listed.

The only alternative I see is to tell Iron to stop bugging me about it. I'd rather it were the default browser.

Any ideas?

OK maybe I solved it and this helps others.

I had to run the installer as "Run as Administrator" and now Chromium comes up as a valid choice in the programs list to use for Web Browser.

Never mind! Duh.
