Not trying to sound like a fear monger here. But like i said in the iron 39 thread from what i have heard the chrome team has started to put restrictions on/in the chromium code. Does anyone else think this warrants discussion ?

For the time being i'm sticking with older versions of iron. Also concerned the iron source links haven't been updated in a while. whats up with that ?

ps: Also just want to put this here for visibility. To combat against the new "canvas" super cookie "exploit" use this https://github.com/ghostwords/chameleon

Srware Iron team, congratulation. :D
Iron (39 and 40 realease) works perfectly.
No more problem with ssl3 poodle.
Youtube video up to 1080p -> ok
I have updaded realease 39 to realease 40 and my user data has been saved without problems.
Iron drives well my 5 extensions :
getAdblock 2.18 who runs with whitelist and also blacklist !
Disconnect 5.18.18 (for trackers and others web sniffers)
Close Tab by Left Border 1.2 to close current tab by one right clic on the window border
Tabs to the Front 2.6.1 to switch foreground the tab just opened.
Thank you for the Iron continuous development. :ironvschrome

Update from Iron 39 portable to 40 portable went flawless. Copy/Paste profile from 39-40 no problems.
Vine videos still not playing.
Thanks for your hard work.

would it be possible for you guys to fix the WebRTC Leak?
if you could.. that would truly put Iron on the map.

Thank You

Omnibox sends everything to the default search engine (Google) while typing. How do I disable that?

Hello, thank you for the return of the 720-1080p on youtube. But I wanted to ask you to make a "small" diet for Iron, if we look at the history of the versions they are getting heavier in time (launch of Iron and pages loading especially). I have the version 30.0 on my old computer (Core i7 920, RAM: 12Go, SSD: Intel X25-E, Geforce GTX 670) which is faster than the version 34.0 on this PC (I am since gone back to the 30.0), but especially which is faster than the version 40.0 on my new most powerful computer (Core i7 5930K, RAM 16Go, SSD: Samsung 850 Pro, Geforce GTX 980). On the other hand, Google Chrome 40.0 with all these trackers is still fast as he was, and the oaf of Firefox himself is faster than Iron 40.0 now!
Please do something, Iron is really excellent, but to see it slower and slower forces me to stay on old versions if I want a quick internet experience.

Thanks in advance for your understand, and sorry for the quality of my English.

P.S.: Iron 40.0 is not compatible with the captcha check for the forum's registration, so I have to do it from Chromium!

Good day everyone,
Updated from previous version to this one because web version of whatsapp stopped working, but after update it still offers me to use "modern browsers". I'm hard Iron fan, so no way I change my browser, but it would be great if I could use whatsapp on my PC too,
thank you :)

Sorry, but you have an understanding problem I think.
Iron 30 will start faster then Iron 40 of course. But that is all.

Iron 40 is in Benchmarks much faster then Iron 30. Also there are fixed more then 100 bugs.
To stay at Iron 30 is not a problem of course... When your computer is not in a private network or you don't use Online-Banking.
Otherwise you have so much security problems that I can't believe to read what you wrote.
