Iron doesn't open links that contain the # anchor

Post by mejoro »

Hi to everybody,
since some versions I noticed that SRWare Iron browser doesn't open any link that contains the # anchor and it just shows a blank page.
Of course if I remove the terminal part of this url taking away the # (and the following href anchor) then the browser works correctly.

Does it happen also for somebody else of you?

Hi,
I've installed the 41st version of SRWare Iron...

...and I still always have got the same problem: when I try to open any url (online or offline) that contains the reference to an href # anchor (i.e.: "http://www.example.com/page.html#target") then the browser shows always a blank page, but if i delete the terminal anchor from the url then the browser is correctly able to open it.

And this bad behaviour doesn't happen on my computer with any other browser like Firefox or Opera (I don't use Internet Explorer since 2005 :ironvsie)

How could I fix it?

Danke schön

I strongly suspect that it is all fault caused by the extension uBlock.

Is there someone who wants to give me confirmation of that?
