Hi,

Thanks for this new version which seems to work well included Pepperflash. Just as information regarding pepperflash, I put the folder Pepperflash in /usr/lib/ and launch Iron with this command :

/usr/share/iron/iron --disk-cache-dir="/tmp/chromium" -incognito --disable-gpu-watchdog --ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/PepperFlash/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=15.0.0.152

This part is not necessary :

--disk-cache-dir="/tmp/chromium" -incognito --disable-gpu-watchdog

But the command --disable-gpu-watchdog avoid the problem mentionned here :

I upgraded to v. 37 but can't launch Iron, the error is :

/usr/share/iron/iron: /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1: no version information available (required by /usr/share/iron/iron)
/usr/share/iron/iron: symbol lookup error: /usr/share/iron/iron: undefined symbol: g_type_class_adjust_private_offset

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Hey,

I did part#1 of the tut, flash showed up in chrome://plugins and I activated it but it kept on crashing.

Then I did part#2 but flash did'nt show up in chrome://plugins and flash videos did'nt play.

Then I (additionally) copied libpepflash.so into /iron/Extensions/ and now for some reason flash works properly.

I don't see any PKGBUILD in the tar. Is there an alternative PKGBUILD file? If not, I'm at a loss as to how to get this running on Arch Linux. I really want to use it, but how to I get started? D:

I even tried running the file "iron" but it just returned:
./iron: symbol lookup error: ./iron: undefined symbol: g_type_class_adjust_private_offset

If there was a PKGBUILD made for it, it would be in the AUR. Since it is not in the AUR, either no one has made the PKGBUILD for Arch and posted it or it simply doesn't exist.

I am currently attempting to make a PKGBUILD, but am not 100% nor experienced on doing so... so hopefully someone will beat me to it's completion.

Maybe someone from the development team could provide the git or ftp address for the linux builds so I could use that in the PKGBUILD? This would make updating much easier.

About the install RPM for linux Beta 32 Bits, I try to installed like other programs in mandriva, but I do not have success, this beta are required many dependencies, i found several, but availability in NET are not always the proper dependencies even with the correct name, i suggest that in this case, RPM, put proper dependencies to download with Iron 37 for linux RPM beta, that will avoid unpleasant problems for unexpert people and avoid waste of time looking for the proper dependencies, then If i would designing an Iron I will put certainly the proper dependencies ready to download at same time of IRON 37 for linux Beta, right in a side.
In the other hand, is important that include into the tar.gz for 64 or 32 the instructions to install IRON in that form, the information most be available into the file Tar., because the objective is testing the program, and not avoid the installing the IRON with additional problems.
Of course i will try install it in UBUNTU and I will continue with mandriva 2010 y 2011
Thank you.
