disabling "Hardware acceleration" in chrome://settings seems to stop those crashes
Can I disable Hardware acceleration manually?...

Iron "Linux" Version, and adblock.ini installed in a "Chromebook"!

I have a "HP 14 Chromebook" (Intel processor), and have successfully installed "Crouton".
Then with "Crouton, I have successfully installed "Ubuntu Linux" ... "trusty" with the "lxde" desktop.
Then, I successfully installed the latest Linux version "Iron Browser" (35.0.1900.0) in the Chromebook!
The adblock.ini works well in the Windows version, and I wanted to see if I could get it to work in this Linux version.
On my Chromebook, I placed the adblock.ini file in the /opt folder. (sudo mv adblock.ini /opt)

I am very new to Linux, and I cannot seem to get the adblock.ini to work in this case.

Do you know if this is a known problem with the latest Linux Iron Browser (35.0.1900.0)?,
or is this possibly a problem with the Chromebook (which has Chrome browser)?,
or did I miss something and that maybe there is something else I need to try?

Hope you can help, and thanks!

In addition to the Youtube problem (will there be an official fix? When can we expect it?)
i am having problems with my german keyboard:

I do

LANG=de_DE /path/to/iron_binary

and get english texts - not a problem for me.

But a problem are the umlaute: ';[":{- (i typed the adiaeresis-Udiaeresis, finally ssharp)
Otherwise the keyboard seems to be supported correctly.
The locale i specified exists on the machine.
The keyboard works fully in an xterm and in other application like claws-mail or firefox.
