Hi,

I upgraded to v. 35 but can't launch Iron, the error is :

/usr/share/iron/iron: error while loading shared libraries: libharfbuzz.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Back to v. 34. What is the reason ?

Xubuntu 12.04 LTS
AMD HD 7750 proprietery driver

Hi I too am getting the same error as faucon50. I have using Ubuntu 12.04 32bit. CPU core 2 duo 1.3Ghz and Intel graphics onboard.

I have reverted to v 31, as with 34 , if would crash Adobe Flash when trying to play youtube, and flickr, and paypal landing pages.

Excellent, you have removed useless plugins... but flash player is not detected at least on Lubuntu 14.04 64bit, I'll try to implement pepperflash.

"they"(or call them iron/chromium/google team) dind't removed plugins but NPAPI plugin support , that means u can't use any more plugins u could use in firefox (flashplayer,java,piepelight,moonlight)

but....
iron team fuckedup something again , and now we can't even use pepperflash same way we can use on latest stable chromium

It's a pity because iron is actually faster than chromium.

I have a solution to the problem on flashplayer version 35:

LANG=pl /path/to/iron/iron --ppapi-flash-path=/path/to/pepperflashlib/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=version from file manifest.json

LANG=pl /usr/share/iron/iron --ppapi-flash-path=/lib/PepperFlash/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-version=14.0.0.125

;)

It is a complete disaster and disappointment. Flash doesn't work after this update, everything was ok before...
And I still can't understand how to install pepper-flash on my ubuntu for iron to work. I even can't run simple chromium browser because of your updates... And sure thing now again I will lose all bookmarks and preferences for my chromium...
