Are online Youtube downloaders safe?

Post by zanoos800 »

hi I have a general question. I have received a few mixed answers already so I was hoping some of you guys could help me.
I download my desired videos from Youtube quick and easy, save to HD, MP4, M4A, MPEG or FLV formats, simply by pasting the URL to a link grabber. http://www.etyn.com/tools/youtube-downloader
I have no idea about the safeness of the tool, furthermore how can I make sure that it is secure and if it's not how can it harm my PC??

Thanks to whomever can help with this.

Not sure about that, but I use http://www.clipconverter.cc/ it lets you change the kind of video and lets you download it from youtube.

OP there are alot but most of them have pop-ups which can harm your computer. You can always use Vidsaved Free Downloader here http://vidsaved.com/

I've been using keepvid.com for a while now. They actually can do more sites then just youtube. I mainly use keepvid to push mp4 files to my Roku (don't save or care to save videos locally) but they give you non-stream MP4 links too with various resolutions.
