Setting Default Search Engine

When I installed Iron last night I had no trouble setting things up and DuckDuckGo was the default search engine. I'm running Windows Vista and my wife has a separate sign in. When I went into her sign in today to make sure the Iron Browser was set up properly I noticed that Google was the default. I went through the rudimentary steps to add DDG but when i did the "Make Default" button fails to appear when I drag the cursor over it.
I went and copied the exact URL from the Manage Search Engines pop up under settings when typing it in under my wife's sign in but there's still no button to make it the default.
Any suggestions?
