Translator doesn't work
External links open up in a new iron window not the already active iron window.
Suppose its a step forward as this just didn't work in 1750 at all.
Adblock doesn't block youtube ads, it is iron not adblock.

Ill be staying at 31 probably for the next year as these issues don't seem they will be sorted anytime soon.

Great browser though i love it.

those with adblock plus issues (not blocking video ads) ==> it's a chromium issue, you have to use ppapi flash (included in chrome but not in iron)
see how-to:

the chromium bug

Awesome. Hope this helps with some issues I've had lately with watching videos on Youtube and also usernames and passwords not showing up on some sights. Thank You.

I'm still not having stellar success with video playback in XP version of Iron. Vimeo videos pretty much completely is wack but Youtube is much better and if I play the video in small window, it's fine. :)

Is there a location into which I can place the manifest.json for PPAPI Flash so the latter gets loaded neatly and automatically?

I can find one 'manifest.json' already in my: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\pnacl\0.1.0.12332

Rather than overwrite that manifest.json, should I put the Pepper Flash manifest in my C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Chromium\User Data\Default\Extensions?

Thanks

V

Trying to launch Iron v33 with command line (see below) and it exits immediately. I don't know/see any reason.

Code: Select all

D:\bin\IronPortable\Iron\iron.exe" -user-data-dir="D:\Tmp\Iron\p"
where: "D:\Tmp\Iron\p" contains current profile.

It always worked well with all previous versions and now it suddenly fails.

How to find out the reason why v33 exits?

Even if one succeeds in making Iron the default, the "Class not registered" problem remains, not to mention various problems with plugins, and the constant Google calling whenever opened. I went ahead and tested the latest version of Comodo Dragon, and I experienced none of these issues. Iron should have ironed it by now ...

Hi.

Flash and youtube appear to be working fine now.

I use a website http://www.canva.com

I use this site to do cards and posters but when i log in and try to do editing its states i need to use the latest Chrome , Firefox or Safari.

Iron dosnt work with this site even when updating to the latest version.

Can you see what can be done , i don't like using Firefox and refuse to use Safari

Thank you ;)

well it is not quite understandable how ppapi works on this link method

placing it on program files/ srware folder as wrote on second post there does nothing

is this description on the link for a command prompt execution ?

cause this command described there seems not executable .if somebody has made it would be nice to share

it would be much better if srware could just fix this bug or integrate ppapi plugin on it. 8-)
