Will Iron block Block Third-Party Extensions?

In January, Google Chrome will start blocking Third-Party Extension Installs and they will remove addblock from their store.
My question is, will Iron block it the same way Chrome are going to when they come with that update?
I like Iron, but if they are going to, I've got to start using another browser as I need some extensions that the the Chrome Web Store don't have.

I did see something about it somewhere, but I don't remember exactly where.

Let's say Media Hint instead then. That one ain't in the Google Web Store and can now only be installed from Media Hints homepage. But, it won't be prossible to install it in the normal Google Chrome after January as it will block any extension installation from other pages then Google Web Store.

So, in Iron I'll still be able to go to Media Hints (and others) homepage and install it after Google Chrome will block it?

Hello,

http://liliputing.com/2013/11/soon-chro ... store.html
http://www.techweekeurope.co.uk/news/go ... ons-131353
http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2013/11/wh ... xtensions/
etc.

But it will be for Chrome. No information for Chromium. Iron it's a Chromium based browser. And Chrome and Chromium are different.
Google communicates little about Chromium. And Chromium is open source, in the worst case. ;)
Wait the SRWare's answer.

I guess this is what KBSSKB was referring to, just so we know what we're talking about.

I think there is no such issue with Chrome.. I am using it and no addons are blocked at all.
