Solution for missing/lost extensions?

Hello,

I am having an issue with Iron losing all my extensions. This is known on Chrome (it certainly sounds like my issue) I believe: http://productforums.google.com/forum/# ... T6kAqjgcTo

I am wondering if there is a way to save the part of the profile that registers extensions (my bookmarks for example do not get deleted, neither does my history), so that I can simply copy it back whenever they are removed, as I don't often change the ones I have loaded.
(Something like the instructions here https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/142059 perhaps?)

Does anyone know how to do this on Iron?

SJ

Going to bump this because it needs an answer.

I just updated from 27 to 41. That was a huge, horrible mistake that has had me crying from frustration. Everything but my history and bookmarks are gone, two things that, of course, don't mater because I am able to, and do, back those up. Win 7 Restore mode won't work because I have COM+ System Application Service/ComPlusStaging/Error 1053 problems which will not resolve. I am, however, able to restore folder-by-folder by right-clicking on a folder and selecting "Restore previous versions". I know there are Iron items under SRWare in Program Files and the Chromium folder under AppData. What other areas on the computer in Windows 7 are Iron settings saved? I want to restore Iron back to it's pristine v.27 self before I throw myself off the bridge next to my house.
