Iron for Mac using Google DNS?

Hi everyone and thanks for your awesome work.
In my Mac I set up the network preferences to use OpenDNS and used Little Snitch to block accesses to google DNS' IPV$ and IPV6 addresses. Nonetheless every time I try to browse the web with Iron, the browser tries to reach Google's DNSes, the firewall blocks it, the browser eventually falls back to the system DNS (deducing here, no proof) and the page loads. This slows down the browsing quite a bit. Is there any way to check the browser's DNS preferences?
