I agree. Though I'm rather new to Iron (Chrome). I'm using it since the last version (27) and thus I don't really know the old menu but from what I've seen it was VERY small and looked pretty ugly.

Came from Firefox a few months ago and just love Iron/Chrome. Found all the addons I had on FF + it's fast and stable. Mozilla screwed up big time. :ironvsff

Good work everyone at SRWare.

Iron is a fantastic browser, and 28.0.1550.0 is the best to date.

The only thing keeping me and herds of other from making the change from FFx is lack of a bookmark sidebar.

I understand the Big Goo has made development of one a major no-no, as they say reduces searches by 30%.

Come on SRW, give us a Bookmark sidebar. If you guys are smart enough to do away with the Big Goo tracking and security issues, you certainly are smart enough to give us a sidebar.

PLEASE DEVELOP A SIDEBAR FOR YOUR OTHERWISE FANTASTIC BROWSER. IT IS ALL THAT IS MISSING.

Thanks to all;

Mark

I'm facing the same sync issue others have also complained about.

Installed 28.0.1550.0 over 27.0.1500.0, and it worked fine. However, on a new laptop where Iron was never installed, I went with 28.0.1550.0. Entering credentials into the 'Sign into Iron' authentication box loops you infinitely into feeding the password, not allowing the sync! All this while authentication has already gone through the first time itself. I verified this by visiting mail.google.com and I'm able to see my account.

This leaves 28.0.1550.0 unstable. Please fix.

It is time to change this order :D
I love SRWare Iron and every little bug kills me!

I'm facing a similar issue. On a new PC, 28.0.1550.0 does not sign you in for sync and loops you infinitely into entering your password! On upgrading from a previous version (27.0.1500.0) where sync happens, this works. Have posted issue as well.

I am also having the google sync issue.

The login page keeps refreshing asking for the password, but it is keeping the login name.

I have a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and a fresh install of Iron 28.

I was previously using 25 with no problems.

Thanks.

I use Iron portable as my default browser on two computers with Win7 Pro. I had no trouble updating to 28 on one. On the other (this one, using Iron 27) I could not get internet access with 28 portable or 28 installed. As you can see, I have no trouble getting internet access with 27 portable. Why the failure on one computer with 28?

Not a problem, only a suggestion. It not better at " About Iron " to appear written: " Iron is made possible by Chromium open source project and other open source software. "
