there was also a java update that only seemed to affect how iron handles flash. somehow it got corrupted and will not load any flash in a stable manner. sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesnt. i have deleted all cache cookies flash cache java cache etc and even uninstalled in the traditional way, this iron browser and reinstalled the newest version, however i'm seeing that data is still being cached and even upon fresh install the flash is still corrupted in this browser only. flash is working fine in my other browsers, omni, safari, firefox, opera and sea monkey. i enjoy iron because it has all my bookmarks and is fast. how can i completely clear this flash issue or completely uninstall and install fresh? i have tried to call apple, they are clueless on this third party browser. please help!

For many, many years I've been using Opera. Now, they are making a transition to Chrome instead of their own Presto rendering engine. Although I do trust them with privacy issues, they are way behind in tweaking the Chrome engine to a user-friendly environment. I am test driving Iron as a default browser (although I've used Iron as a back-up browser for years). Hope this goes well. A small suggestion/request: when you close the final open window, could Iron open the new tab page instead of closing. And, one more thing (if I may), could we have the option of opening a link in a new window (by default). Thanks for your attention. :ironvsopera

Any plans to support 1.6.x platform?

Browser crashes on load. There is similar problems with other mac software (e.g. adobe brackets) so support may be resolved in the near future.
