Hi,
as I already wrote in another thread (Google Translate may help you out), I want to pre-install Chrome extensions for SRWare Iron, but starting with version 25, Google disabled the possibility to use the Registry for that matter. If I need a ready-made Iron installation for my PE ISO, I fail to see a chance of having Iron equipped with crx extensions unless I revert to Iron 24...
What would you do? Any ideas?
So long,

Anybody succeeded in deploying Iron?

Re: Anybody succeeded in deploying Iron?
Thanks mapx, thought I already got it but obviously I was wrong (incorrect key).
It worked out with a fistful of crx files I chose (Adblocker might bitch, though).
For the nonce, I'm pleased with the status quo.

Solution for Iron 29 needed
Unfortunately, in recent versions the Registry method doesn't work any longer:

Having to use GPO is a f***ing nuisance, as I need a (scripted) deployment for a PE system (no domain being involved).
I don't know too much about Microsoft's Group Policies either, anyhow, for the deployment I must not tamper with the underlying host system, it's the deployment engine doing the necessary steps and whatever the engine's supposed to do needs to be scripted.
