Srware Iron Flashing HTML Inspection / Developer Interface

Something has happened very suddenly to my version of Iron.
I am running the latest version. After commenting on a particular website, I returned to my home page to discover that the developer view (where you can inspect CSS and source code in lower window pane) was flashing on and off.
I am a computer network tech, so I am pretty savvy, the rest of my system seems to be functioning perfectly, no stuck keys or such.
I deleted the folder and re-installed, and tried other methods ..
Is it possible to reset the browser to defaults?
Are there any other issues that may cause this?
Iron is the best and fastest browser I have used. I do not want to switch, but I am not going to format my machine when everything is seems perfect. Malware Bytes and Othe Malware sweeps turn up no unfavorable results
