XP Pro 32 bit with Latest (version 22.x) ?

Howdy to the Forum! 
We've noted the reported problems the newer(est) version 22.0.1250.0 has with XP Pro 32bit.
Can anyone confirm if this is widespread or only affecting a few?
Can anyone confirm whether the 'fixes' brought out in the thread have worked and if so,
can someone post specific instructions on how to install this version where it works without any of these problems?
