Mouse Gestures

Postby controlfreak » Sat Aug 22, 2009 1:48 am

Hi,

I inadvertently submitted a question on the German board regarding mouse gestures. (http://www.srware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=541) Someone in response suggested using Gmote. I tried it and it did not work very well for me, besides being limited in the number of gestures I could perform. (I'm used to using Opera.)

Does the Chrome mouse gesture add-on (http://www.chrome-plugins.info/en/) work well with Iron ? Or is it still a bit to new to trust ?

Thanks !

Normally it should work, but you have to try yourself if it runs fine on your system/configuration.

Unfortunately, I tried several versions of a gestures add-on for Chrome and none worked. I guess I'll wait until one of the gesture extensions becomes more popular -- and stable/reliable. Until then, I can live without them. Or I can resort to the Gmote program mentioned to me (as long as it doesn't interfere with my Opera gestures).

Thanks for the feedback !!
