New Iron-Version: 3.0.197 Stable

Based on Chromium 3 you can download a new stable version of Iron. There are many new features like Theme-Support, a new flexbible "New Tab"-Page and a working and stable extension system.

We also added a User-Agend Switcher to Iron, so you can change it without having trouble with parameters. To use another browserstring just create a textfile called "UA.ini" in the Iron-Directory and put your userstring in the first line. After restarting Iron your customized string is used!

In ..197. version, when I open 'open link in new tab', Iron go automatic in NEW OPENED TAB.
In ..183. version, Iron opened NEW TAB, but was in CURRENT windows (not in new opened tab)

How can I set its as in old version - open new tab in background mode

Hi,

first of all, thank you for developing this option for Firefox and Chrome. It's been great so far, stable and light.

But of course there has to be some nagging as well - the latest version has an issue with rearranging tabs, at least in two pc's I've installed it to. When you grab from a tab and begin to move it, it instantly jumps into a new window and minimizes rightaway. It displays in the windows taskbar as a separate window, but the actual window can only be seen by right-clicking the taskbar item and maximizing the window.

It's not a huge problem, but causes minor irritation anyway.

I completely agree with the comments on new tabbing "feature".
I really enjoyed opening the new tabs in the background - switching to the new tab is a pain.

To me this is a reason to switch back to the old version. No kidding.

yes yes yes - I agree, the new tab behavior is killing me - AUGH - is there an easy way (a setting or flag) to change that behavior back to the way that it was... thank you in advance

Good job Srware; Keep em comming . I'll have to check out the newer version. Guess you could say I been under a rock. Sorry you had to display ads in the forum every time a link is clicked on (Noticed it in Opera, without ad blocking). Someone (People) donate to Srware.
