You can download a Pre-Alpha of Iron for Linux now:
http://www.srware.net/downloads/iron-linux.tar.gz

Update:
The download now contains Iron for Linux 3.0.189 and introduces some improvements like cleaning of private data or importing bookmarks.

Attention:
This is a Pre-Alpha release, which means that there is nearly everything uncomplete and broken. Normal surfing is working, but plugins like Flash will not work.

Hi! I'm using OpenSUSE, so I want to make clear the situation about Iron for Linux. As for Google there's a Chrome for Debian-like Linux only (in deb-packages). It seems your alpha release would run on my OS but after installation I saw this pic

What I am doing wrong? )) Or the Iron version for Linux is for Ubuntu only?

If I try to navigate to Wikipedia, it renders for a split second, and then Iron crashes and the window closes.

It works okay on other sites, though. This is on Ubuntu 9.04.

Do you have the source code available for download for this alpha release? I had a look around the site and couldn't find anything other than the stable Windows source code.
