Update to Iron 20.0.1150.1 wiped out my bookmarks

Iron updated itself to v. 20.0.1150.1 (Developer Build 150001 Windows), wiping out my configuration settings, including bookmarks. First time this happens to me, all other updates I have done manually and orderly. What is going on? Is Iron updating itself without user permission? Please clarify. Thanks.

Well, I don't know what is going on then. This morning I opened Iron, and again it was back to the latest version, all my configuration settings wiped out. If Iron doesn't automatically update, what is causing this issue for me? Is there anyone else experiencing the same problem? Please help!! I am afraid of using Iron, my favorite browser, if I cannot save my precious bookmarks on it. Thanks!!!

you could use a gmail account to synchronize the bookmarks or Xmarks Bookmark Sync extension

what do you mean ? which is your version ? what are you losing ? only the bookmarks ? what about passwords ?
have you also chrome browser installed ? the google updater is active ? (remove all this crap from starting using autoruns, better if you uninstall it)

Version: 20.0.1150.1 (Developer Build 150001 Windows)

Losing: Total configuration, including bookmarks.

Passwords: I use passwords from memory.

Chrome browser: Never use Google Chrome, or any other Chromium browser.

Google updater: I don't use Google software.

Thanks for the input, anyhow. Any other suggestions?

for iron replace \Google\Chrome with \chromium, to find the right folder
