I would like to add as extension adblock but do not want the Chrome version. How do I install the Iron version?

adblock.ini is a builtin blocking feature
must choose from fanboy site the list you want and then put it in the main iron folder (replace the empty adblock.ini present there)

if you want another modality of adblocking, you can install the extension adblockplus (better if you install the last development version)

and choose the lists you want (easylist or fanboy, some regional list)

the advantage of the extension is the possibility to use also the hiding modality non only the blocking one (like adblock.ini), and all is dynamic
