Any way to remove "Web store" links from new tab page?

I would like to remove the "Web store" link from my home page--when Iron makes a new tab, there is a white band at the bottom that has a "recently closed" page (which I like), and a "web store" link (which I don't want). Is there any setting I can check that can get rid of that link?

Can you please explain how that extension resolves the problem in the OP? I installed that extension but didn't see any change.

Install it, then go to options (extensions page) and choose what page you want open when you click for a new tab

or you can choose about:blank for a new, blank page

OK, let me clarify what I put in my OP. There is a white band at the bottom of my current new tab page. I would like to keep that white band, which has the recently closed pages, but I just want to get rid of that one section that has "web store" links.

Can this extension help me do that? If so, how? I looked in the options and didn't see any way to remove just those web store links.

no, is not what you want.
I prefer it because I can set it to open the new tab all blank or with my home page.
