3 .exe files in iron dir - what do they do?

In the Iron subfolder there's 3 exe files that I would like to know the function of:

- mksnapshot.exe (based on the name i thought this one makes the snapshots for the most visited pages on iron's homepage, but at least some snapshots are still being made when this exe is deleted so it should be something else)
- tld_cleanup.exe (history cleanup - clear browsing data works without this exe so it has to be some other kind of cleanup the name refers to)
- wow_helper.exe

To see for myself what these file do, I deleted them one by one then ran Iron each time and as far as I can tell, Iron seems to work just fine without any of them and I didn't even notice any errors or missing functions while using it. So what do these 3 executables do? Are they not necessary on a 32bit system?

Just for internal use, wow_helper.exe is e.g. for 64Bit-Systems wrapping.
