Flickr not working in v18.0.1050.0

Since upgrading to Iron 18.0.1050.0 (Developer Build 130000 Windows), several features of Flickr do not work. Is anyone else seeing the same issue(s)?

I can open groups and browse photos as normal, but I can not mark as a Favourite or view different sizes.

Trying to mark as a favourite by clicking the button top-left - the button clicks, but the star doesn't change colour.

Trying to zoom or view the other sizes available via the menu gives me a black pop-out bubble with the flickr animated circles, but nothing else happens.

Thought I was going crazy, but it has been happening all week. Have just installed Firefox 12 and tested same website with same account on the same photos and everything is working perfectly.

I will try re-installing Iron...

Yes, I am using Fanboy's adblock.ini Main list + tracking from 30 April. I have always used that adblock with Iron (since v6), and I update it every couple of weeks. Nothing else in my Iron configuration has changed. :|

I will try again with adblock disabled and then try updating to latest adblock.

OK, I have done some further testing :geek: . Many thanks for the hint mapx :D , I had completely overlooked that!

I un-installed Iron and rebooted. I installed Iron 18.0.1050.0 and left default adblock.ini file in place. I went back to Flickr and it works again! :D

I downloaded the latest Fanboy adblock.ini and put it it to Iron base folder. I restart Iron and went back to Flickr and... It's not working again, with same problem as before! :x

So problem is with adblock.ini  . I will check on their forum and report if it isn't already listed as a problem.

I always run with Adblock on and 3rd party cookies disabled and this was never a problem before 30 April. Many thanks! :)

you could remove temporarily all the flickr filters (waiting for "official" correction) from adblock.ini

I have posted in this existing thread on Fanboy's forum: http://forums.fanboy.co.nz/forums/viewt ... =8&t=12106

Fanboy himself replied to say that he thinks there is some issue with the way that Iron is implementing adblock.ini as it currently crashes his Iron.

Note that I have only had this problem after updating from my previous Iron v16 (final Windows release) to v18 and updating Adblock.ini at the same time. So, I'm not sure which is the problem. Unfortunately, I don't have any version older than the current one to install and test... Very annoying having to drop in to Firefox to use one website... :ironvsff

Is there somewhere where I can download v17 or v16 to test? :geek:

the problem seems to be the number of total filters in adblock.ini, so, fanboy could try with not more 10000 filters

fixed by srware (not crash)

//Update to 18.0.1050.1
Integrates the last patches and fixes a problem with the adblocker

Have installed v18.0.1050.1 and tested on Flickr.com with standard adblock.ini file - working fine, just like previous v18.0.1050.0 did without Fanboy's adblock.ini.

Added Fanboy Main + Tracking list from today (16 May 2012) and retried - exactly same problem again. :? :x

I didn't have this problem with version 16 and earlier.
