First of all - the good news is - there is no problem with running the latest v18 of Iron in single process mode. It was my fault, when I tested it for the first time. It works just as well as all previous versions of the Iron browser :)

To add new switch into command line:
1. Create a shortcut that will start Iron (I use Iron Portable, but you may apply it for common version too)
2. Open Properties box for that shortcut
3. In "Target" field add new switch -single-process. For example, that command line could be:
D:\Sys\Iron\IronPortable\IronPortable.exe -single-process
4. Save shortcut

To run Iron in single process mode - launch it by running this shortcut.

As always when it starts you'll see warning on the top"
You are using an unsupported command-line flag: --single-process. Stability and security will suffer.
Just close the warning box. From my experience always running it in single process mode - its stability doesn't suffer at all. It will use less memory form your computer and run faster (switching between threads in one process is always faster than switching between different processes)...

Thanks for the tip, but anytime I try this, it says "Invalid Name"...

Then does not allow me to Save, until I remove the "-single-process" line...

I´m in XP SP3, btw.

Is there any other way or a way to bypass this?

Thanks :D

Hey, I used this command line, instead, and it worked well:

" --–single-process"

1 space + 3 --- (instead of 1).

If anyone can´t make it work with the -single-process, just try this, it worked for me :)

And thanks, again, man, now Iron runs so faster and loads pages instantly! Very nice.

I tested the switch. Does not function with extensions. Not full supported.

Also, I am assuming that Chromium too will work in the single process mode
