Windows 7 cannot start internet explorer because of primary DNS server problem? i have bought new sony vaio and trying to connect it with my wireless internet. it connects with the wireless router but not connecting to internet and a message appears that.

you must set a static address for your vaio

if your router is for example 192.168.1.1, set your vaio pc like 192.168.1.55
also, a static lan address is useful if you are using some p2p software
