I get the following error message when Iron is started: "Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of Iron. Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of Iron."

I have searched this forum and other forums for a resolution but I cannot find the folders that were supposed to be deleted or moved in the fixes that were suggested. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

I was getting the same error as the OP. Your given link really helped me a lot. Thank you very much.

Never mind my earlier answer. When I closed and restarted Iron I am getting the same error again. What gives?

uninstall completely iron (included delete the profile folders) and have a fresh install of the last iron (export your bookmarks, install lastpass for the passwords or synchronize with your gmail account)

hello i see the same error message
but i fix it deleting user
in the menu go to "options" and go to personal stuff,when you are there,click on deleting this user and press deleting in the announcement

im do it that and my SRware iron are working nice
