Hi!

I would like to ask you if it is possible to make SRWare Iron work with AdSweep http://www.adsweep.org automatically. I know that both Iron & AdSweep can work together because I use them both :) but I meant about automatic, one click installation. Please mind that computer geek population is minority :ugeek:

Greetings from Poland :D

i just installed Iron and had the same problem, did some searches at the forum and found out how to do this : put your AdSweeper.js in "C:\documents and settings\[username]\local settings\Application Data\Chromium\User Data\Default\User Scripts"

change [username] to your username, you also need to rename AdSweeper.js to AdSweeper.user.js, after this just rightclick your SRW Iron shortcut on your desktop and look for "target", in this box -after- what is written and add " --enable-user-scripts "

do this on all your shortcuts and your are up and running, test this by going to www.adsweeper.org, you will see a red box in the top right corner, if not, try doing these steps again.

hope this helps!

(*) NOTE: for Iron Portable, the folder "User Scripts" must be created into the folder where you installed Ironportable (in my PC is: c:\programs\Iron\Profile\Default\ ) and not in "C:\documents and settings\[username]\local settings\Application Data\Chromium\User Data\Default\"

Other instructions are correct.
Now Adsweep finally works.
