Although it's not just desktop icons, it's also certain parts of utorrent. I'm using windows 7 and an nvidia 470 GTX if that counts for anything but no other program does it.
i'm using Iron build 13.0.8, i've tried both the GPU beta and normal versions of SRWare Iron. it's a daily occurence and I doubt there's a fix so I'm just reporting it.

This also occasionally happens with Chrome Stable and Canary.
