Thanks.
you can follow these steps:

1.install unlocker (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/Unlocker.html)

2.go into:

C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\temp

3.play your youtube video
you'll see in C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\temp (order by last modify) a file like fla*.tmp ;
after the end of the video playing (when the file is complete in temp folder), dont close the iron window !!! (if you close or change the site, the file disapears), right click on the fla*.tmp file, choose unlocker, set on the row with your file and choose copy file.

you can not copy the file with windows explorer (file in use)

4.after copy with unlocker in another folder, you can rename the file with .flv extension
5. use VLC to play it

How does one install Unlocker?

Thanks.

grab & install this one:

http://www.oldapps.com/unlocker.php?old ... 3?download

it's version 1.8.5 the same I'm using

about unlocker - can use when:

given by Windows: Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use or the file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker is the solution. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.

Does anyone know how to convert Riva FLV player to Quick Time? I have a few videos on Riva but I would rather have it on Quick Time so I can put it on my iPod.

you could use:

http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

MOV Convert any supported input file to MOV. Convert MOV files to any other format. The rendered MOV files are created using a wide variety of video codecs H.264/MPEG-4/DivX/XviD/H.263.. together with AAC/ALAC/AMR/IMA/wav.. audio codecs. They are fully playable on QuickTime7.
